If the return is not due to an error on the part of Lighthouse, a 10% re-stocking fee will apply to all items returned and shipping will be the responsibility of the customer. Please keep in mind that time is of the essence when reporting such discrepancies and there is only a 30 day time frame to do so. In accordance with our standard terms and conditions related to 1) Exchanges, 2) Returns-for-Restock, and/or 3) Warranties: any issues or problems regarding acceptability of an item upon its return (such as for late return, unacceptable exchange, etc.) will be reported to the customer with documentation and details.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, please contact us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Return Policy:
If you need to return a product because you changed your mind or no longer need it, please contact your customer service representative for a Return Authorization number (RA) number (TruAudio cannot accept product that was ordered outside of a 60 day time frame). You are responsible for shipping the product back to us. The completed RA form must be included in the shipping box in order to be eligible for any credit. You will have 60 days from the issuance of a valid RA number to return the related product without being assessed a restocking fee. Product returned from 61-120 days will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Product returned from 121-180 days will be subject to a 50% restocking fee. Product past 180+ days is not available for return and will be returned to you. All product(s) must be unused and in re-sellable condition. This includes the product and the retail box. Please allow 5 to 7 business days from TruAudio’s receipt of product for credit to be issued to your account. TruCustom and Discontinued products are not eligible for return.
Defective Product:
If you have a product that you believe to be defective, please contact your customer service representative. If the product has been determined as defective by TruAudio Customer Service and/or Technical Support, and it is requested that you return the defective product, you will be given a RA number and RA form. You will also be issued a UPS call-tag which allows us to prepay shipping charges for the return. If you are requesting a replacement product, it will be shipped to you that same day, as long as you contact us before 3:00 PM Mountain Time.
Net 30 Customers:
If you have been issued a replacement product and you have been asked to return the defective product it must be received by TruAudio within 30 days from when the RA number was created. Failure to return the product in 30 days will result in a charge for the replacement and no credit will be issued for the defective product.
Credit Card Customers:
If you have been issued a replacement product and you have been asked to return the defective product it must be received by TruAudio within 15 days from when the RA number was created. Failure to return the product in 15 days will result in a charge for the replacement and no credit will be issued for the defective product.
COD Customers:
Replacement items are shipped to you under regular COD terms. So long as the defective product is received back into the TruAudio warehouse within 30-days, you will receive a credit on your account for the price of the item. Please notify us as to whether you would like us to issue you a check or apply the credit to your next invoice.
Condition/Returning of the Product:
Please ship the product back in an exterior shipping box and not in the retail box only. DO NOT put the RA number on any box. TruAudio’s completed RA form must be included in the shipping box in order for the return to be eligible for credit. If the actual product or retail box is damaged or used and cannot be sold as “new” product, or if the merchandise is in ‘used’ condition, TruAudio will determine the value and refund the appropriate amount, if any.
